  • Ginger Sandell

Ginger Anne Sandell was raised on the mainland.  In her youth, she spent hours exploring nature, roaming the forests of Maryland and the rolling hills and tidal pools of Southern California. In 1974, she traveled to Hawaii on vacation. She fell in love with the ocean and the beauty of the islands, so she sold all her possessions and moved to the Big Island. Her love of nature inspired her to begin painting in 1979. Ginger loves pristine places in the natural world. She hopes to inspire her viewers to cherish the exquisite splendor of the earth and strives to show this beauty with her art.
